Valerie Gillespie Jazz Ensemble

The Valerie Gillespie Jazz Ensemble is dedicated to the preservation of live jazz performances. The group performs a mix of instrumental and vocal jazz music. They do many tours inside and outside the Tampa Bay area as well as record their own music and songs.

Valerie Gillespie has performed alongside various icons includes Rosemary Clooney, Joan Rivers, Natalie Cole and Ray Charles to name a few. She also performed with the Xavier Cugat Orchestra throughout the United States and Japan and performs with Chuck Owen and the Jazz Surge on a regular basis.

Lush Life is Valerie’s most recent jazz CD and features music by Chick Corca and Billy Strayhorn.
