| Jan 23 "Girls Nite In - Wine & Design" At The Shabby Shack Market Place |
South Shore Shabby Shack & the Market Place, hosts "Girls Nite In- Wine & Design" Classes, where you can come learn a variety of painting & crafting projects and you take home your masterpiece. This class, dated January 23rd @630pm, is a "Wine Glass" painting class. Very popular activity that's springing up all over the place. NOW, South Shore Shabby Shack, LLC., has brought this 'FUN Night Out' to South Shore/South Hillsborough County!!
The classes last aproximately 2 hrs. Reservations are REQUIRED, due to limited space & price varies depending on project.
The Shabby Shack & Market Place currently has 3 instructors. The instructor for the "WINE GLASS" painting class, January 23rd @ 6:30pm, is an experienced Artisan, Carla Rigby. Although, she paints a variety of other items too, i.e. flower pots, porcelains, crystal and other glass... Her classes are fun, there's plenty of laughter, sipping wine & learning something new, while creating your own work of art.
$30 per person, prepaid. ALL of your supplies are provided!
You will be painting, so dress accordingly

"Basics of Painting - 101" - Learn to paint with chalky paints with us. You will learn the basics, by painting on wood serving tray with handles, that you take home with you at the end of the night, similar to the trays in the picture above. You will paint up to 2 colors of your choice, learn to distress having the underneath color to bleed through and down to the wood, then poly coat to seal. You can choose a design to stencil on the top of the tray, if you wish...
Bring a bottle of your favorite wine or other beverage of choice, a snack if you'd like and come ready to have fun.
